"I have learned so much from Sustained Dialogue about people, cultures, and how similar we all really are. SD has equipped me to engage in effective dialogue with people of all ethnic groups, backgrounds and races. The priceless skills that I have learned from being a moderator and participant will be with me for a lifetime. Skills like attentive listening, good eye contact, and appropriate body language are just a few of the skills that I learned help me make people feel a lot more comfortable talking about their views or perspective. Now when I have issues that bombard me in my everyday life, I use my skills to create an atmosphere that is conducive to openness and understanding."
